Abstract

The notebook documents daily work of Roger Clapp, December 15, 1988 - May 18, 1989. Includes a variety of content and formats. Includes contact information, lists of supplies, tables of data from bird counts, entries relating to daily work,personal activities, and miscellaneous notes. Entries indicate location and date with counts and unidentified information. Some entries are narrative in style describing daily activities. If the narrative refers to field work or observations that took place, entries give location information, time of day, and birds observed (type, sex, location). Sometimes location is indicated with mileage along road or vicinity of landmark. Locations are not always clear, but appear to be in United States, several in Virginia.
