Abstract

The notebook documents field work conducted by Roger Clapp on Canton and Hull [Orona] Island, June 4 - 6, 1973. Pages are numbered (142 - 157). There are notes on types and appearance of plants inside the front cover. Entries are dated and include a combination of information relating to travel details, observations of birds (type, sex, behavior) and their nests, observations of other area wildlife, and lists of band numbers with location and unidentified data. A portion of the notebook is blank.
