Abstract

The notebook documents field work conducted by Roger Clapp on the islands of Enderbury, Sydney [Manra], Birnie, Hull [Orona], April 22 - 27, 1971. Pages are numbered (58 - 107). The entries are dated and include a variety of content and structure. Some are narrative in style, describing terrain, locations, and observations of birds as well as their nests and eggs. Sometimes these include band numbers. There are also tables of information, usuallylisting band number, sex, description of location, and additional unidentified data.
