Abstract

The notebook documents field work conducted by Roger Clapp in Virginia (May 10 - 30, 1969) and Canton Island [Kanton] (April 11 - 13, 1971). Also includes a bird count at an unknown location, August 23, 1968. In the front of the notebook is an order list for birds of Necker Island. Entries for Great Falls include a list of birds, sometimes with numbers and notes listed beside. There is a list of contact information, citations, followed by narrative entries describing field work at Great Falls. They describe observations of birds, nests, and environment. There are also notes on itinerary and observations for trip to Canton Island. There are narrative entries and lists of unidentified information. A portion of the notebook is blank.
