Abstract

The field book documents the work of Roger Clapp as part of the SIC Trip #12 on Howland, Phoenix [Rawaki], and Line Islands during, March 31 - May 16, 1966. Work was completed for the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey. Entries vary but most are dated and include location (sometimes at sea) followed by bird band number and type (common name). Sometimes they include sex or notes on condition. There are also bird and nest counts listed under date and location. A portion of the notebook is blank. Other locations include the islands of Enderbury, Phoenix, McKean, and Palmyra.
