Abstract

The field book documents plant collecting in Ceylon [Sri Lanka], 1968 - 1971. The notebook includes loose inserts of hand written and type notes in the front cover. They include notes, botanical specimen labels, list of plants collected between April and May 1968. Entries in the book include specimen number, fam., det., local., occu(?), spec. On the verso are remarks that are a combination of appearance of the plant, abundance, condition, measurements, or notes on feeding.
