Abstract

This item consists of a folder of data collected at sea by Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program staff, on the Eastern Area Cruise 26, aboard the R.V. Jordan, 1967. Materials include: bird observation data sheets and fix data sheets. Bird observation sheets include time, species, #, dir., specimen or band no., and remarks. Remarks include physical descriptions of birds (colors, size, maturity), flock size, and behavior (sitting on water, feeding, calling, etc.). Also included are data on daily summaries of Eastropac 50 bird sightings. Fix data sheets include: ship, date, sunrise (time, lat., long.) sunset (time, lat., long.), total miles traveled, position (time, lat., long), and course or speed change. Also included is a typed preliminary report.
