Abstract

The field notes document Suzanne Ripley's observations of primates during the Ceylon Primate Project, 1968 - 1971. These include dated narrative style notes, a sketch (appears to be an outline of a primate), tables of data (female reproduction, male reproduction, births, infant development, copulation, falls / deaths / injuries, growth, fecal collection), and typed instructions on observation recording. Narratives describe behaviors and interactions of troop and individual, with time of day.
