Abstract

The materials document Suzanne Ripley's observations of primates during the Ceylon Primate Project, 1969 - 1971. Materials includes various types of records, some from observations, other appear to be derivatives. They include varying types of information. Some detail date, time, species, coord., age (adult, subadult, juvenile, infant 2, infant 1) and sex, comments. Others include observations headed with "whooping record." Locations are through out studied areas including: roadside, central watering hole, north gate, watering hole, etc. Some materials list observer. Locations includes Ruhunu Park [Yala National Park] and Wilpattu Park [Wilpattu National Park].
