Abstract

Seven envelopes of images document Helmut Buechner's study of pronghorn in Texas, 1947. Some photographs have negative numbers on the reverse side. Envelope 1 includes samples of browse in culture side dishes (785E). Envelope 2 includes images of pronghorn in various positions and distances (8005). There are detailed captions on the reverse side with description (sometimes scientific name), location (name of ranch, distance from town), photographer, and date. Envelope 3 includes various images of Trans-Pecos terrain (928). Envelope 4 includes images of pronghorn, frequently individuals. Some photographs have detailed captions. Envelope 5 shows view of vegetation, envelope 6 shows terrain in Texas (10), and envelope 7 has picture of buck with broken horns.
