Abstract

The notebook of Frederick William True related to botanical specimens collected in Pribilof Islands in 1895. The notebook is a compilation of specimen list, notes, and publications. These include: "Plants of the Pribilof Islands, Bering Sea" by C. Hart Merriam; Proceedings of the Biological Society of Washington, 1892; and unidentified notes concerning specific plants. In the unidentified notes, are numbers recorded next to species names, maybe collected. Includes a list of what specimens were wanted (with an indication whether common, uncommon, or basic description) and what was collected.
