Abstract

The dictabelt is a recording of Helmut Buechner's field notes for work completed in Wassa Camp, Semliki Game Reserve, Uganda, August 20 - 23, 1959. Entries include date and describe observations of kob behavior and interactions. Details cover territorial ground number, time of day, descriptions of individual kob (sometimes tag number, physical characteristics, sex, behaviors, location), details about photographs taken (including camera settings). There are also descriptions of herd population, with estimated percentages corresponding to age and sex. Described interactions include mating behavior. August 21 entry has several sections of descriptions organized by time of day.
