Abstract

The dictabelt is a recording of Helmut Buechner's field notes for work completed, October 12 - 16, 1962. Entries are dated and describe work completed, names of colleagues and staff, observations of kob behavior and interactions that list tag number, approximate age, and sex, sometimes with period of time. Some entries are organized with time of day (sometimes every few minutes) followed by behaviors and location (sometimes number location). There are also notes on weather.
