Abstract

The two notebooks document field work on kob completed by Helmut K. Buechner, 1972. The first notebook has field notes for March 9 - 17, 1972, and begins with miscellaneous notes, contacts, followed by dated entries. These include time of day, location, observed wildlife (quantity, sex, behavior and interactions), as well as unidentified data.|Second notebook includes entries for fieldwork March 18 - September 27, 1972. Entries are composed of the same types of details described about, as well as notes on photographs taken and contact information. Lists Nyanjanyakusa River in the first few pages.
