Abstract

The two notebooks document field work on kob completed by Walter Leuthold, 1962-1964. The first notebooks has entries written from the front and back of the notebook. Entries cover observations of kob including identifier (e.g. TG#), sex, and list of physical characteristics including color and appearance. From the back entries are lists of information about babies (number, date, rt ear, left ear). The second notebook includes same type of observation lists as well as dated entries with a combination of type, sex, weight, measurements (varying list of total, tail, girth, leg, ear), and some behavior.
