Abstract

This item measures roughly 5 inches in length and contains about 20 leaves, some blank. Included in this notebook is an itinerary listing locations by state and the month visited, notes listing names of banks and dollar amounts, some notes on wineries, names of people in Maryland and Virginia, and sketches of Cumberland (Maryland), Break Neck, and the Potomac. An itinerary from 18 June-6 July 1825 is also included as well as some miscellaneous field notes. Handwriting is difficult to read.
