This item is comprised of hand written and typed manuscripts from Sheldon's work in Oregon in 1897. Specimen catalog lists no. 8557-8201 in reverse order on the type written documents and the accompanying hand written documents contain specimen no. 8610-9046. Sheldon notes scientific name, date of collection and also notes other conditions surrounding the specimen collected.
