Abstract

This item consists of a folder of data collected at sea by Pacific Ocean Biological Survey Program staff, 1964. Materials include bird observation data, and other information. Bird observations data sheets include entries for time, species, #, dir., hgt., and remarks. Additional data sheets recorded time, lat., long., pres wea, vis, slp, dry b, wet b, dew pt, hum%, tl sky, opa sky, waves, sea temp, wind s, wind d, course, speed. Also included is a printed map with some annotations to indicate "Binion's trip, 19 Mar - 21 Mar 1964". Locations include localities in the Pacific Ocean near Leeward Islands (HI).
