Abstract

This item consists of the photocopied field notes of Philip N. Lehner, from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in October and November 1964. Daily journal entries document Lehner's travel, observations, and bird banding activities in Marshall Islands and Gilbert Islands. The notes include several maps of Marshall Islands atolls and islands. Also included are species checklists, a short bibliography, an itinerary for the trip, and tide charts.
