Abstract

Original logbook of the Grampus, 21 January to 4 April, 1917, station record numbers 10440 to 10467. Data recorded include station no., date, hour, position (lat and long), locality, depth, bottom, sample, wind direction, wind force, sea, sky, temperatures, currents, "nets etc. used", and notes. Notes include remarks on trials, nets, catches, trawls, and observations. Collections include scallops, stars, and fish. Localities include waters off of Florida, including: Sanibel, Tampa, Pensacola Bay, Trinity Shoal, Boca Grande, and possibly others.
