Abstract

This item consists of the collected handwritten and typed notes of F. A. McClure from field work in Colombia and Venezuela, 1943. McClure's work on bamboo (NDRC Bamboo Project) was related to a project to find bamboo for ski poles to be used in the war effort. Includes Colombian itinerary, travel documents and ephemera, typed progress reports, and diary entries. Localities include: Cali, Caracas, and Ciudad Bolivar.
