Abstract

Original logbook of the Danglade covering station numbers 51-78 and 1E-18E and the dates 9-15 March 1917. Data recorded include station number, date, hour, locality, depth, nature of bottom, wind direction and force, sea, sky, water temperature (depth, thermometer, reading, stem temp., correction, corrected temp., w. sample, bottle used), currents, color of water, transparency, remarks, nets, and notes. Notes often include lists of specimens collected including quantities for some. Locality: Chesapeake Bay.
