Abstract

Original logbook of the Grampus (mislabeled "Halcyon"), 18 to 28 August 1921, station record numbers 10563-10613. Data recorded includes station number, date, hour, position (lat, long), locality, depth, bottom, sample, wind (direction and force), sea, sky, temperatures (depth of, thermometer make and number, reading, stem temp, correction, corrected temp., w. sample, bottle used), currents (depth, hour, tide, time down, revolutions, speed, direction), color water, transparency, remarks, nets (description, depth, time, speed), and notes. Locality: Gulf of Maine.
