Abstract

Original logbook of the Fish Hawk, 25 July to 1 September 1916, station record numbers 8595-8640. Data recorded include station no., date, hour, position (lat. and long.), locality, depth, bottom, wind direction, wind force, sea, sky, temperatures, currents, "nets, etc., used", and notes. Notes include remarks on course, dredging, tide and other notes. Stations are located in waters off of Virginia and Maryland. Localities include: Cape Henry, Cape Charles, Holland Island, Hooper Island, and others.
