Abstract

Original logbook of the Fish Hawk, 23 May to 25 July 1916, station record numbers 8546-8594. Data recorded include station no., date, hour, position (lat. and long.), locality, depth, bottom, wind direction, wind force, sea, sky, temperatures, currents, "nets, etc., used", and notes. Notes include remarks on course, dredging, tide and other notes. Stations are located in waters off of Virginia and Maryland. Localities include: James Island, Cape Henry, Cape Charles, Tangier Island, Holland Island, Hooper Island, and others.
