Abstract

This diary was kept by W. A. Archer in 1931 during an expedition to El Choco (Colombia). Entries are long and narrative and describe travel, daily activities, collecting, and personal reflections. Includes some sketches; some notes indicate that some drawings have been removed to another book. A detailed typed index to the journal, with subjects and page numbers, is stapled into the inside front cover of the book. Localities include Lloro and possibly others.
