Abstract

The box of slides and negatives document field work completed by staff for the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project. There are 4 rolls of negatives of Africa; the creator is not indicated for 3 of them, one is labeled Setzer. There are three boxes of negatives for Robbins (first name not indicated) and Hearst from Morocco 1969. There are boxes labeled B-5 1-7, 9, 17-35; B-6 1-25, 28-36; Vaden B-7 3-36; Vaden B-8 P-9, 12-17; B-9 1-36; B-10 14-36; B-11 1-16, 22-23, 27-36; B-12 10-29. There is a box of slides from Setzer showing campsites, wildlife, and group portrait of staff; a box of mixed slides (some from South Africa and Iran during the 1960's) with captions (one taken by Risser); slides marked unknown of various types of images; and image by A. C. Risser of South Africa with captions (type of wildlife, location).
