Abstract

This field book was kept by Francis M. Hueber in New York, 1957-1959. Entries are narrative and describe Hueber's field work collecting paleobotanical specimens. Also included are descriptions of quarries and collecting sites. No collector numbers are included. Localities include: Cairo Quarry, Hensonville, Cape Horn, Mountain Crest Quarry, Onteora, Albany, Catskill, Mt. Zoar, Some entries include temperatures, weather observations, and elevations. Includes some rough sketches of quarries.
