Abstract

The field catalog documents the specimens of various collectors (A - J) for the US Biological Survey, 1890 - 1911. Entries include USNM catalog number (non sequential), specimen number, sex, scientific name, locality, date, measurements (total length, tail vertebrae, hind foot) and remarks. Remarks includes additional information about collecting method, specimen, or location. Collectors include H. E. Anthony, B. J. Bretherton, C. S. Brimley, A. S. Bunnell, M. Cary and E. A. Preble, A. E. Colburn, G. A. Coleman, N. Dearborn, G. Donald, J. F. Ferry, R. T. Fisher, E. A. Goldman, L. J. Goldman, M. M. Green, J. S. Gutsell, A. H. Higginson, and S. G. Jewett. Locations are across the United States.
