Abstract

The black and white photographs were taken by William Foshag of Paricutín Volcano, November 29, 1944 - May 27, 1945. Includes image numbers F271 - F285F. Subject matter includes the volcano emanating smoke; the cone; view of San Juan from trail; vistas of woods; San Juan flow; lava flow in town of San Juan; ripple marks in ash; the crater; Aguan flow; ash fall over Guanijuato; and a collecting tube in fumerole. Includes duplicates.
