Abstract

The black-and-white photographs document the work in Iran, October 1962 - November 1963. The photographer is not identified. Images include captions covering location and date (month, year). Some include subject matter. Subject matter includes aerial views of terrain, participants and local staff at campsites, collected specimens (owl, hyena, hircus, varanus), habitat, and street scenes in towns. Locations cover Dahsti-i-Kavir [Dasht-e Kavīr], Khurasan [Khorāsān], Dasht-i-lut [Dasht-e Lūt], and Baluchistan. Includes duplicates.
