Abstract

The slides taken by various individuals to document field work completed as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project, 1962 - 1967. Photographers include Bruce Hayward, Julius Geest, A. C. Risser, R.M. Davis, and H. Uible. Images have captions, usually including date, location, subject matter, and photographer. Subject matter includes campus life (University of Ghana at Legon), savanna, forest, candid images of local inhabitants, observed wildlife (snakes, birds, mammals), habitat, and terrain. Locations are across Ghana.
