Abstract

The black and white photographs were taken by William Foshag of Paricutín Volcano, June 20 - 22, 1944. Includes image numbers F211A - F228. On the reverse side, some include the image number, date, and sometimes a description, indication of vantage point, or time of day. Some images are of locations and different days. Subject matter includes views of town and individual structures damaged by lava flows and ash, as well as individuals inspecting damage to structures (with lava flows seen in). Includes duplicates.
