Abstract

Original logbook of the Albatross, dredge numbers 4996-5035, 22 September to 1 October 1906. Data recorded include survey and dredge number (no.), date, machine, turns, correction, depth, shot or lead, bottom, bottom temperature, number of thermometer, correction, corrected temperature, air temperature, surface temperature, drift, trawl or dredge, sounding wire readings, dredge rope readings, serial temperatures, and general remarks. Some remarks on quantity and type of specimen caught. Localities include the Sea of Okhotsk [Okhotskoye More] and the North Pacific Ocean near northern Japan.
