Abstract

Original logbook of the Albatross, dredge numbers 4950-4995, 21 August to 22 September 1906. Data recorded include survey and dredge number (no.), date, machine, turns, correction, depth, shot or lead, bottom, bottom temperature, number of thermometer, correction, corrected temperature, air temperature, surface temperature, drift, trawl or dredge, sounding wire readings, dredge rope readings, serial temperatures, and general remarks. Localities include the North Pacific Ocean near Japan, Enshū-nada Sea, and the Sea of Japan.
