Abstract

Original logbook of the Albatross, dredge numbers 4860-4907, 31 July to 6 August 1911. Data recorded include survey and dredge number (no.), date, machine, turns, correction, depth, shot or lead, bottom, bottom temperature, number of thermometer, correction, corrected temperature, air temperature, surface temperature, drift, trawl or dredge, sounding wire readings, dredge rope readings, serial temperatures, and general remarks. Localities include the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea.
