The black-and-white photographs document the work of R. E. Vaden in Morocco as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project, November - December 1969. On the reverse side of the photographs include photograph number (B-#-##), subject matter, location, and date. Subject matter cover Acomys habitat, Jaculus and Gerbillus habitat, vegetation, group portrait of project participants, local structures. Locations include Icht and Aouinet Torkoz.
