PrintThe black-and-white photographs document the work of L. W. Robbins in Morocco as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project, February 1 - July 18, 1970. On the reverse side of photographs are captions covering location and date. Sometimes captions include the type of mammal in the photograph. Subject matter cover collected mammal specimens, vistas of terrain (valleys, hills, arid plains), caves in cliffs, participants with collected specimens, field vehicles covered in snow, mammals in their habitat, coastline. Locations include Azron, Taza, Tazarine, Foum Zguid, Tata, Saf.
