Abstract

The black-and-white photographs document collecting in Morocco as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project, March 1969 - May 1970. On the reverse side of photographs are captions covering a combination of location (sometimes distance from town), subject matter, and date. Often there is a list of scientific names of mammals. Subject matter includes vistas of vegetation and habitat, a campsite, and terrain (sand dunes and cave). Locations include Tiflet, Refuge Louis Neltner, Cape Spartel, Tarfaya, and Tata, Morocco.
