Abstract

The black-and-white photographs document collecting in Dahomey [Benin] as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project, January - February, 1968. On the reverse side of photographs are captions covering location and date. Subject matter includes detail images of trees and other vegetation, campsites, and candid image of local inhabitants. Locations are near Banikoara and Guené, Dahomey.
