Abstract

This item consists of the field notes of Ralph D. Kikpatrick from his work with the Pacific Ocean Biological Survey in 1964 and 1965. Daily journal entries describe Kirkpatrick's work banding birds and observing and collecting birds and rats. Entries also include reflections on the customs of indigenous peoples, including those on Tokelau Islands.
