Abstract

The black-and-white photographs document collecting in Dahomey [Benin] and Ghana as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project, December 1967 - March 1968. On the reverse side of the photographs are captions covering location, date and subject matter. Images show detail images of live mammals and snakes; campsites in Diho, Dahomey; woods; and railroads in Dahomey. Locations include Tourou, Nikki, Dahomey.
