Abstract

The black-and-white photographs document collecting in Togo and Dahomey [Benin] as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project, June - July, 1968. On the reverse side of the photographs are captions listing location and date. Subject matter shows terrain and vegetation (trees and grasslands), rivers, vistas of University of Ghana and Legon, skinned mammal specimen, and campsites. Locations include Ezimé, Gbatope, Pagala,Togo; Kpodave, Benin.
