Abstract

The black-and-white photographs document collecting as part of the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project. On the reverse side of the photographs are captions. Captions describe white rhinoceros, Namib desert, elephants, high forest in Nigeria, and savanna. Locations cover Lebombo mountains, Natal province [KwaZulu-Natal], South Africa; Mozambique; Bulawayo [Zimbabwe], Rhodesia; Nigeria. The related negatives are in the same folder.
