Abstract

The black and white images document the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project in Nigeria. Images have captions listed on the reverse side. Subject matter covers a snake in high forest, trapping site and wildlife in University of Ife (Ibadan) biological gardens, vehicles in the field, local inhabitants (including children) in Kabwir, coastline of Niger river enroute to Jos, bat net, and half-buried statue of a woman.
