Abstract

Images were taken during the Smithsonian Institution African Mammal Project by A. C. Risser, and A. L. Moore, and R. E. Cole, 1963 and undated. Some photographs on the reverse side have captions that cover photographer, subject matter, location, and date. Subject matter covers participants with specimens at Neiman's farm, campsite in dunes of Cape Province, specimens taken at Smither's ranch, Art Risser with tame Kudu cow at campsite, and giraffes in habitat. Locations are in North Transvaal province [Limpopo], South Africa.
