Abstract

This folder consists of 3 black-and-white photographs mounted with captions to a single board. The photographs were probably taken by Edmund Heller, year unknown. Captions were added by Heller. The photographs depict: (1) A giant Candelabra euphorbia near Chief Sururu's village; a pool on the veldt near Rhino Camp (Uganda), showing brown-barked Acacia trees and yellow pond lilies; the Nile at Rhino Camp showing vast papyrus swamp and absence of definite shoreline.
