Abstract

Black and white photographs document William Foshag's observations of Paricutin Volcano, 1943 - 1944. They include numbers F2 - F14. The majority of the photographs depict March 23 -26, 1943. On the back they include dates, and some have a terse description. Subject matter includes images of the eruptions, emanating clouds, slopes of the volcano, surrounding woodlands and terrain, an unidentified person, a large fumarole, and the Zapicho flow. There are multiple copies of some images.
