Abstract

This folder consists of 3 black-and-white photographs mounted with captions to a single board. The photographs were probably taken by Edmund Heller, year unknown. Captions were added by Heller. The photographs depict: (1) papyrus swamp bordering the Nile at Wadelai (Uganda); (2) veldt Rhino Camp (Uganda) after burning the grass showing characteristic tree growth, including brown-barked Acacia in center and foreground; veldt calf at Rhino Camp showing unburned condition; and (3) tall grass and Acacia and Combroteum (?) bushes.
