Abstract

This field book created by Thomas Dearborn Burleigh records bird specimens collected between 31 December 1953 and 25 November 1962. Information includes number (collector? USNM?), B.S. (Fish and Wildlife), sex, binomial, number, date, state, and locality. Collector or USNM numbers 24596 to 30564 are included. Localities include mostly Idaho but also Washington, Wyoming, Virginia, Maryland, and others. Field data from 26 December 1971 to 4 August 1973 is inserted into this field book. The following elements are included: date, number (collector? USNM?), sex, binomial, locality. Localities include California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, others. Collector or USNM numbers 23772 to 24323 are included. News clippings and photographs are also inserted into the field book.
